Timesheet Desktop

Timesheet Desktop is an integrated timesheet module that runs natively on either a PC or a MAC and can be accessed via a separate icon on the users desktop. Once connected, users can quickly and easily record how they spend their time and whether it’s billable, non billable, client or non client related as well as defining the activity performed.

Timesheet Desktop has many features which include a built in timer, an option to record notes for each entry as well as the ability to template your jobs and projects. Users have the option to split their time between internal and externals tasks, copy, past and/or delete entries using our many shortcut keys Flexibility is also provided with the ability to change your timesheet range to view and enter time into future or past dates if required.  Lookups within the Timesheet Desktop application are available to assist users find the job or cost centre they are working on ensuring no excuses for not entering time.

Users have the option to use a Weekly or Daily view when entering time. If you are a Supervisor, you have the additional flexibility to view and edit your team’s time. They will be able to view at a glance who has or hasn’t completed their timesheets, check and update any incorrect postings and print weekly or monthly reports. 

Timesheet Desktop Approval

Time entered via Timesheet Desktop is automatically transferred to Enterprise Timesheet Approval grid, ready for an authorised supervisor or Time Controller to approve the time. This allows you to check not only total time entered by Employee but also the Cost and Charge out Rates against each entry.

These features allow for dynamic time and client profitability reporting within Enterprise application and will assist in analysing your staff utilisation (see Enterprise Time Reporting).
